When the bikers come through town, youll see them posted up outside this place on Thayer. From my experience it was never a big Brown student draw. Its more of a bar than anything else. The food is decent, but I never heard of anyone being excited about getting over to Kartabar for a meal out. If you're a big martini drinker, they have tons of variations, with a large bar selection and mixed drink menus to satisfy most everyone. Dark lighting with an asian/modern fusion feel (I don't know how to describe it otherwise). The food is a bit pricey for what they're actually offering.
